Pfefferminzmuseum Eichenau — Attraction in Eichenau

The pfefferminzmuseum was awesome. We only speak English and the folks who were there were very kind and welcoming despite the language barrier! Fresh, free tea was offered when we walked in and we were able to buy more bags for after we left. Delicious, wonderful, I recommend.

Also, since the museum is only open Sunday, and buses don't run on sunday, work the 20 minute walk from the train station...

Fantastic collection of displays about the groth and harvest of peppermint. The local variety was really unique and the farmers were careful not to dilute the strain. Nice place to learn about history of peppermint in Germany...Mr.Heilmann is too good he explains everything crystal clear..plus u can enjoy the peppermint tea on arrival for free... Couldn't buy nothing memento as the shop is empty...u can spend maximum 10-15mins here...u can cover everything...
