Das Museum Junge Kunst, so wie es die meisten wahrscheinlich noch kennen, ist seit einem Jahr unter neuem Namen bekannt. Das Museum ist mit dem Brandenburgischen Landesmuseum für moderne Kunst in Cottbus fusioniert und gehört nun zum BLmK dazu. Die Ausstellung, die man in der Frankfurter Rathaushalle und im Packhof entdecken kann stehen alle unter dem Motto Ostdeutsche Kunst. Immer zum 1. des neuen Monats findet um 15 Uhr in der Rathaushalle eine Familienführung statt. Diese Mitmachführung enthält neben einer spielerischen Führung auch einen Praxisteil, bei dem man selbst die Techniken der Künstler ausprobieren kann.
