Historische Olympia Bobbahn am Rießersee - Bobmuseum (Bobschuppen) — Attraction in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

It's a nice place and fun to walk up/down the hill in the former track. Unfortunately the old lift and the upper part of the track are not in the best condition. The lower section is in better shape and seemingly still used for sledding in winter. Schöne kurze Wanderung durch die historische Bobbahn am Riessersee. Am Startpunkt (oben) steht ein historischer Vierer-Bob, der zum Probesitzen einlädt. Es ist eng, unbequem und beim Aussteigen kann man sich am Fahrersitz die Kleidung aufreißen. Der Weg zum Ziel führt immer abwärts durch viele Kurven. Etwa auf halber Strecke ist in der Bayernkurve eine kleine Gedenkstätte, an der auch der Unfallopfer gedacht wird. Der Weg durch den Wald ist leicht zu laufen, auch aufwärts.
