I’m just gonna say that the view you get is really breathtaking from wherever you are standing. The lake and the mountains behind just creates a really beautiful view for the eyes. The lake’s water was turquoise color and crystal clear that it really makes a perfect reflection of the trees and the mountains just like a mirror. They said you can even swim and rent boats during summer so maybe you can try to visit during summer if you want to do these things. I took the bus there was specifically heading towards Eibsee from the train station Garmisch-Partenkirchen and I believe this is the most simple way to reach Eibsee using public transport. Although, just a reminder that the bus might only come once every two hours so I would recommend you to really plan your trip well and look at the schedule for the bus before going. So if you are planning to take the bus to Eibsee and back to the train station, I would recommend you to order arrive earlier so you can spend more time at Eibsee. There is an alternative which is the Zugspitzbahn (Zugspitze railway) which you can take from the other side of the Garmisch-Partenkirchen train station to go directly to Eibsee by train, but this one you have to pay extra.
