The woman at the ticket counter is incredibly rude. She called me a liar because I told her what the reservation policy hotline told us concerning reserving a mobility scooter! She was so rude and very angry. Then she said that she doesnt HAVE to give ANYONE a scooter if she doesn't FEEL like it! (What a great attitude to have concerning working with the disabled) She also said we should have brought our own mobility aids if the person was so severely disabled! Her behavior and lack of decorum was Shocking to say the least. My Mom is visiting from The U.S. and has debilitating arthritis and spinal stenosis. She needs a cane and walker 100 percent of the time, even at home. She can't walk the entire park. She couldn't bring her mobility scooter with her to Germany from the U.S. All the scooters and wheelchairs were right there in front of us yet she said they were all reserved ( even though the people hadn't shown up to get them). They were reserved so NO ONE could use ANY of them. I think SHE was lying and didn't want to let us use them. She clearly hates Americans as she was saying something under her breath in German about Americans. I just want to say, So many Americans come here its a real shock to see someone show so much open disdain towards them with such ease . She was a real piece of work! We had to leave the park after planning to spend the day there. We had to pack up the baby and everyone and just go home. We will never come back. I will be finding out more about this employee and reporting her behavior to every supervisor or superior that I can find. She was rude and hateful to the wrong disabled...
Read moreWonderful place. The dinosaurs are great for children. There's a winding brook that meanders all along the park. There's a Legoland display that takes up an entire building. The jungle gyms are a lawsuit waiting to happen but apparently Germany doesn't have those liability laws like back in the States. They're in great shape it's just that they are built in a way that can result in a kid getting hurt. Think fall hazard. There's another section of the park that requires you hike up a mountainous pathway. It leads to an open large field with a chapel made of willow branches. There's a fish pond, herb garden, swings, play houses and an attached parking area for those who want to drive there directly and not have a heartattack hiking there from the main park. There's also a restaurant and modern bathrooms. The restaurant is mostly hot dogs and pizza but they also have schnitzel, beer, pretzels and ice cream on the menu. The only negative is they...
Read moreThis one is a very nice park. There is so much that kids will enjoy doing in this place.
An amazing playground, a nice Wasserspielplatz, lots of real size dinosaur models displayed along with some brief information. But my favorite part was the creek with cook and clear waters where kids could go in and play.
At the entrance, there is an impressive Lego exhibit worth seeing. If you buy a Lego product from the shop, you get a 10% discount (as of last week). From the same shop you can rent a dino-buggy for 2 euros. Kids will like it, but it is quite heavy and exhausting to carry around, especially on a sunny day.
The park is populated mostly by american army spouses and children. But the crowd was by no means overwhelming on a nice summer day. There is a cafe where you can get some fast food, hot and cold drinks, desserts, and ice cream for fair prices. They don't...
