You'll be surprised on how much this zoo has to offer. It doesn't look big but you can easily spend a whole day in here. Especially since they have a petting zoo with goats and sheep. Super calm animals which will gently let you know that they want scritches. Right now they're only allowing around 10 people at a time in the zoo and you have to desinfect your hands before and after you go but that should be understandable.
There's a nice bird house with some african grey parrots, storks and cranes and much more.
In my opinion the highlight would be the monkey part of the zoo and the tiger enclosure. The monkey enclosures just look so beautiful and they have lots of space and possibilities to get some peace and quiet for the animals. Must see in my opinion. The tiger enclosure is a bit outside of the rest of the zoo and you'll be able to see the tigers from an elevated position. The two tigers have more than enough space to not annoy each other if they want to. You can get some nice pictures from almost all sides.
Very nice and affordable zoo (9€ for an adult ticket) and definitely a must go when you're...

Disappointing Experience at Landau Zoo
We recently visited Landau Zoo after seeing an online advertisement that prominently featured leopards and tigers, which were the main reason for our visit. My daughter was especially excited to see the tigers, but we were extremely disappointed to find out that they weren’t there at all. A zookeeper casually mentioned that the tiger had died, which was upsetting to hear — especially since we weren’t informed at the entrance or anywhere beforehand.
For the price we paid, I expected better communication from the zoo. It felt misleading to use these animals in their advertisements when they were no longer part of the zoo's exhibits. Overall, a very poor experience and not what we were promised.
Not recommended unless they improve transparency. 21st...
Read moreGet ready for a wild ride at this mini-zoo! It may be small, but it packs a punch when it comes to well-kept animals and healthy-looking creatures. The staff takes great care of the animals, and the zoo is spotless clean.
But the real highlight of this zoo is the downtown area where you can grab a bite to eat after your visit to the zoo. It's like a safari adventure, but instead of lions and giraffes, you'll find delicious sandwiches and ice cream cones.
Overall, it's a great little zoo that's perfect for a quick stop, but don't expect to spend the whole day there. With that being said, I highly...
