Truly beautiful, enough parking space, tickets can be purchased at the counter, I didn’t have to wait so long before buying the ticket. I went on a Sunday during the time when NY9/11 was showing and it was indeed beautiful. The yearly compilation of different stories that have happened throughout the years, the build up to the moment , the sound effect and lighting… AMAZING TRULY. First time entering one of those and I look forward to another one.

Bin hier immer wieder gerne; die Panoramen samt Ausstellungen von Yadegar Asisi sind jedes Mal ein Ereignis. War hier schon bei Rom, Everest, der Völkerschlacht und nun beim Great Barrier Reef. Hier hat mir vor allem das Konzept zur Begleitausstellung gefallen: schöne Exponate und interessante Ideen, nur ein paar Infotafeln waren etwas dunkel und dadurch nicht gut lesbar. Aber zum Glück gibt es die auch im Begleitkatalog. UPDATE (März 2017): Zur Zeit zeigt Herr Asisi in Leipzig das Panorama zur Titanic. Das mag auf den ersten Blick nicht so üppig aussehen wie die vorigen Panorama, doch gerade der Gegensatz von Begleitausstellung und Panorama wirkt hier äußerst beeindruckend. In der Ausstellung wird die beginnende Industrialisierung der Welt dokumentiert sowie die Hybris des Menschen, sich über die Natur zu erheben. Das Höher, Schneller, Weiter ohne Rücksicht auf Verluste wird hier besonders deutlich. Doch mit dem Panorama wird der Besucher direkt auf den Boden der Realität zurückgeholt. Denn dort liegt nur ein kleiner Teil der gesunkenen Titanic. Bieder wirkende Alltagsgegenstände des Menschen liegen unbenutzbar auf dem Meeresgrund. Ein schöner Einblick in die Selbstüberschätzung des Menschen. Auch das Begleitheft ist wieder lohnend, sind hier doch sämtliche Bilder und Texte der Ausstellung enthalten.

The Panometer was very interesting and informative for me. I saw Carolas garden from another perspective. At the beginning I got many Information and details about the life in 2D pictures. And her colleagues explained why they created this excellent 3D picture. In the center of the Panometer is the 3D picture what I could monitor from 4 different levels at night and day light. I liked this time there. I can just recommend it.

This was hands down one of the most amazing pieces of art I have ever seen. There is nothing else like it. A combination of digital and drawing media blended flawlessly into a stunning panorama that is huge! It makes you feel so small in comparison to it's grandure. There are so many different ones to see as well that are scattered all across Europe. If there is one near you it's well worth it.

Interesting place and exposition, despite the current theme being quite unusual and not so attractive at first glance. The artist has an undeniable talent, and provides an unusual experience. Only downside: 11,5€ entry ticket is quite a lot in my opinion; a price range between 6-8€ would enable more visits from a broader public, this level of pricing probably discourages the uncertain.

Great place to visit, not only for kids. Bilingual explanation makes it more tourist-friendly, as not everyone knows German so well. Exhibitions change, so you can visit on multiple occassions. I would also recommend watching the film at the very end of the exhibition. Presents "the making of..." and contains the interwiev with the author, who explains the idea behind...
