Erlebnisbad Aqua Mundo Park Hochsauerland — Attraction in Medebach

We have called 3 times to centerparcs, to try to get online tickets. Unfortunatley this doesnt work if you have a dutch bankaccount, even when you go the to Dutch dayticket website. I tried with a creditcard but didnt got a confirmation, this went probably also wrong. Than finally before 11 at the desk at Park Hochsauerland, we payed 73 euro's for 2 adult and 1 kid of 6yrs. The entrance is clean and nice. Even some changingrooms are like a puzzle. Than you enter the swimming area by a path to the jungle dome, its really nice. With some wooden births and monkeys. A big play area for little kids. Our son didnt want to go anymore. But its a climbing area with all kind of showers/ waterfalls, it looked really cool though. Next to it you find a cool slide with boats. We liked this one the best. Also the queue wasnt that long, it went quite quick. There are totally 5 sides, a very high one the Black hole with lights, be aware if you have some problems with your sentence. They are all gone in a second, but its nice. Maybe Centerparcs can make guideliness/ manuals also in a different language than German, maybe English or Dutch etc. Makes it a bit easier to read. Theres a river rapid, which is also very nice. A big swimming area and some little ways to the big one. 1 bubbelbath, which is Just hotwater no bubbels!! Besides we havent seen the water fountains on, in the whole Day! Our son liked it ofcourse, and we like jungle but the price quality ratio isnt weard it. Well not for us. We went this holiday also to the Thermen saltwater Bath and with sauna it was even 25 euro's cheaper. And we stayed the whole day. Often after a few hours as parents you have seen it allready, which we also had here in Aqua Mundo, while we drove more than 1 hour. But in this Therme we stayed till 8 pm, also because the warm baths and the bubbels. So this would be a recommandation for Centerparcs, a quite area to relax and to slowdown (all the sentence) Even our son really needs that during a high sensitive day like this, he told ourselves in the bubbels bath. After this we walked to the play area Aventura. We turned back after 1,5 km. No km are on the signs,this is also a recommandation. We left and went to the summer rodelbahn in Willingen. 3 stars due to the cleaning staff being lazy or non existent. I really had a laugh when I noticed this sign (picture ) by the entrance to the changing rooms. We really did experience the unique center parcs scent! Of urine!!!!! So, when you enter, yes, you have a small whiff of a pleasant smell for 2 seconds. I stayed for some days in the park and while it was not every day, there was a very pungent smell of urine that could make a bear cry coming from the toilets. The smell then floats and lingers by the kids water playhouse and the red family slide. I saw a bandaid that laid on the same spot for at least two days. I also saw very visible trash on the floor by one of the slides, which was there the next day. The kids playhouse needs to be cleaned, it has algae all-over. It deserves to be power washed. There are also other places where water pools around the handrails, which are full of algae. The floor on the toilets has very, very poor drainage, so we go pee with our feet soaking in other people's urine!! The floor on the toilets should be redone to a flat surface with anti-slip paint. There was a table with the cleaning schedule every hour signed inside the toilets but I don't believe it at all. It was 14:30 when I was there one day and it had two signatures then the next day it was fully signed, which stinks of lazy employees. The day it smelled the absolute worst someone with a round signature reassembling BB was the person responsible that day. I never saw anyone cleaning anything whatsoever. Also, the showers on the women's side were either fully cold or burning with no in between or a way to control the temperature. The positive part is that the waves were bigger than in the trois forêts park and held for a longer time. The waves outside were also fun. The water and air temperatures were nice, unlike other center parcs pools where it was difficult to stay there for long even during the summer.

Please train and drill your cleaning team and add ventilation to the toilets, in addition to solving the floor drainage problem. Install a hose inside the toilets so the guests can spray it before using...

Gleich vorab: unbedingt Badeschuhe mitbringen, z.B. im Tedi oder ggf vor Ort im Dome kaufen. Für Babys, Lärmschutz/Kopfhörer einpacken

Positives: tolles Konzept, ein richtig großes Becken, das so viele Landschaften und Erlebnis-Elemente vereint. flache, tiefe Bereiche, Strömungen, Wellen, etc super Rutschen, keine langen Wartezeiten aufmerksame Bademeister

Wassertemperatur wirkt im 1. Moment kalt, ist aber wirklich ok, man gewöhnt sich im Nu dran sehr warmes Becken für Babys kreative Spielplätze /-Elemente für Kinder Swim safes für Kinder unter 12 kostenlos

spürbar reduzierter Einsatz von Chlor schönes Ambiente durch Natursteine und Pflanzen Freundliches Personal am Info-Point Preis an sich ok, wenn man länger bleiben möchte (Erwachsener - 34 Euro, Kinder ab 2 Jahren - 24 Euro.) Preise im Bistro verhältnismäßig leckerer Gemüseburger im Bistro Perfekt bei schlechtem Wetter

Kritik: Die Webseite - es fehlen m.E. grundlegende Informationen zu Becken, Temperaturen, Preisliste (nur beim Buchen einsehbar) und Anreisetipps für Tagesbesucher.

Am Empfang/ Info-Point im Eingangsbereich des Domes ggf lange Wartezeiten, trotz bereits gekauftem Ticket, da sich dort Centerpark-Kunden zu Aktivitäten beraten lassen...

Als Tagesbesucher muss man aber hin, um dort den QR-Code der gekauften Tickets gegen Armbänder (Eintritt , Spind) "eintauschen".

der Preis ist happig, wenn man nicht lange bleiben möchte (2-4 Stunden). Es gibt keine Halbtagestickets o.ä, zumindest nicht unter der Woche.

sehr voll und sehr laut; wir waren extra unter der Woche dort, spätestens ab 12 Uhr war das Bad überfüllt. Keine Ahnung, wie die Bademeister ihren Job ausüben, wenn gefühlt jeder cm von Menschen besetzt wird.

Die Lautstärke - ein Kapitel für sich. Ganz schlimm fand ich die 2 kleinen Passagen von drinnen nach draußen und zurück. Manche bekloppten Halbstarken machen sich einen Spaß daraus, dort absichtlich zu schreien. Ich bin da oft durch und fast jedes Mal war es sehr unangenehm, einmal richtig schmerzhaft im Ohr. Kleine Kinder erschrecken sich dadurch auch sehr. Einmal wäre die Situation beinahe eskaliert, weil ein Papa mit Kleinkind sehr sauer wurde...Ganz ehrlich, zurecht! Ein Verbotsschild würde vielleicht für klare Verhältnisse sorgen.

Abwicklung im Bistro; dauert ewig, da unlogisch. Man muss am Automaten Essen, bestimmte Getränke und Softeis bestellen und bezahlen, soweit gut und sinnvoll.

Bei mehreren Bestellungen haben wir festgestellt, dass sie diese chronologisch abarbeiten. D.h. für eine einzige Cola oder Waffel (um sich anschließend das Softeis selbst zu ziehen!), muss man ewig warten, weil vorher ein Dutzend Essensbestellungen abgearbeitet werden. Das ist kontraproduktiv, man überlegt sich 10 Mal noch was zu bestellen und ich kann mittlerweile jeden verstehen, der Getränke und Essen von Zuhause mitbringt.

die Damentoiletten haben furchtbar nach Urin gestunken, bei den Herren war ich nicht. Badeschuhe sind ein Muss.

Anzahl und Ausrichtung der Duschen. Die Kapazität des Bades ist auf 1000e Menschen gleichzeitig ausgelegt. Es scheint nur eine Sammeldusche pro Geschlecht zu geben. Und dort gibt es ca 10 Duschen, viel zu wenig. Das Hauptproblem ist, dass alle Randduschen zum Nacktduschen unbenutzbar sind, weil jeder der ins Bad rein oder aus dem Bad rausläuft sie einsehen kann. (Duschen in U-Form, vorne mittig eine Wand als Sichtschutz, links und rechts offen). Ziel erreicht, man bleibt da nicht lange... Und es gibt viel zu wenig Möglichkeiten Handtücher...
