Ich bin zum Einstieg des Wanderweges mit dem Fahrrad von Mettlach gekommen. Leider gibt es keine Möglichkeiten sein Fahrrad dort anzuschließen. Lediglich an der Stange eines Hinweisschildes, oder weiter weg an dem Ufer-Zaun der Saar. Zu Fuß hat man vom Ausgangspunkt am Fluss ordentlich was zu tun. Es müssen immerhin über 200 Hm geschafft werden. Unten ist ein Schild aufgestellt, was darauf hinweist, dass dieser Weg nur für geübte Wanderer ist. Dem möchte ich hinzufügen, dass dieser Weg bei Regen oder Nässe ziemlich gefährlich ist. Warum? Die Pfade sind teilweise sehr schmal, führen direkt an der Abbruchkante entlang und sind häufig mit kleinen Geröllsteinen belegt. Auf dem Weg muss man auch noch an 2 Geröllabhängen vorbei. Alles kein Problem, wenn es trocken ist. Auch hier kann aber lange Trockenheit gefährlich werden. Das Beispiel hat uns ja neulich sehr deutlich gezeigt wie gefährlich es ist...Laura Dahlmeier tragischer Unfall. Während meiner Radtour sind mir häufig die Warnschilder angezeigt worden. Aber man kommt ja auch auf anderen Wegen hoch. Dafür entschädigt dieser Ausblick jede Mühe. Oben gibt es ein Café was satte Preis hat. Der Baumwipfelpfad ist schön zu laufen und auch für Rollstuhl-Fahrer geeignet. Eintritt für einen Erwachsenen 13 Euro, Schwerbehinderte mit Ausweis zahlen 12 Euro. SMS Ausgang vom Baumwipfelpfad gibt es noch mal eine kleine Imbissbude, mit Ksfge Pommes, Getränke.... Dort ist es etwas...

Impressive viewpoint, definitely worth a trip. It's reachable as part of the Cloef-Pfad dream loop, a medium to difficult hiking trail, which is definitely recommended. If you hike there it's a bit of a pity that the viewpoint now sits in the shadow of a huge wooden platform that's part of the treetop walkway.
