Luitpoldpark — Attraction in Munich

Frankly, Luitpold Park is my favorite park in Munich. The place is so calm and not crowded even in the summertime. One of the most beautiful skyline panorama of Munich opens from the upper hill, at day time and in the night. The green lawns, benches are best suitable for meditation, reading, yoga, music listening or city gazing. INSIDER TIP: May is the greenest point in the park with a spectacular chestnut blooming and huge dandelions covering the lawns. The lush vegetation is at its peak in May. And June, July and August are the perfect time to see the wild alpine flowers, which cover the lawns like a colorful carpet. It is the best time for the picnics on the grass.
