I really enjoyed this museum, it is the perfect size to enjoy everything in there without it feeling like a stamina event, so it is difficult to get 'bored'.
They currently (Feb '22) have a display called 'Ducko' which is very fun and breaks up the more history and Pinneberg focused displays and actually makes the whole museum even more engaging.
The rooms are well designed without too much in one room and things to look at, drawers to open, things to touch, and lots of information.
Unfortunately, the information is only in German but the staff are fantastic and make all reasonable steps to accommodate international guests which was greatly appreciated.
A lot of clear history about Pinneberg and its importance in the founding of Germany and various points in the first and second world wars.
