Jenner Aussichtsplattform — Attraction in Schönau am Königssee

I had a bad luck as i arrived late and it started to become misty and cloud came a lot lower. Due to this I couldn’t see the splendid view but I still love hiking from bottom to the top of Jenner as it felt very satisfying when you reach the top! It’s definitely rewarding! I don’t recommend it to people with weak knees and some people should be careful of where there are going to pose for their pictures (perfect pictures are worth more than your lives - those moments were a lot by many people). But remember young children are around so be cautious of your actions because there is a chance they will copy you or accident happens.

The path from the Jenner-Mountain Station is well marked and easy to follow. Absolutely no big deal for anyone with alpine hiking experience. For those who are new to the mountains: bring hiking boots, do not atempt to bring a stroller or small children without proper equipment. The viel from the plattform as well as from the cross is absolutely gorgeous. It could be crowded on weekends though. So we'd recommend getting here early...

🇩🇪 Wunderschöne Aussicht auf den Königsee und den Ort Schönau bei herrlichem Wetter, der Abstieg war steil und teilweise schwierig und auf halber Strecke haben wir uns einen echten Apfelstrudel gegönnt, anstrengende aber schöne Wanderung, es hat sich gelohnt 👍⛰🥾☀️

🇺🇲 Beautiful view of the Königsee and the town of Schönau in wonderful weather, the descent was steep and difficult at times and halfway we treated ourselves to a real apple strudel, strenuous but beautiful hike, it was worth it 👍⛰🥾☀️

🇮🇹 Bellissima vista sul Königsee e sulla cittadina di Schönau con un tempo meraviglioso, la discesa a tratti è stata ripida e difficile e a metà strada ci siamo concessi un vero strudel di mele, escursione faticosa ma bellissima, ne è valsa la pena 👍⛰🥾☀️
