This was an amazing museum! I came as a group and we were given a personal tour in english. Our tour guide was very wonderful. She told us the history of the organs and played each one for us. She even allowed us to play one as well! It's very cool to see all the different kinds of music machines!

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und großartige barrierefreie Präsentation der Geschichte(n) der Region mit Brauchtum, altem Handwerk und Orgelbau: faszinierend für jung und alt! Seit 1983 lohnendes Ziel- erbaut 1753-55 als Probstei der Chorherren. Nach der Säkularisation Lazarett, Weberei, Hotel und Schule, 1944-45 Wehrmachtsnutzung. Heute Museum. Bis 29.5.2022 sehenswert ist die Retrospektive der Malerin und GEDOK Mitbegründerin Dora Vetter.

The museum is interesting and there are some temporary exhibitions about the area are good.

One problem was that it is all in German so we used Google lens Alot.

The main problem is that the museum lacks sound. There was a group going round listening to them, but we couldn't join and there are not even any videos or recordings of them.

I expected a museum full of the lovely sounds of them playing, but all I heard was the floor boards.

If you go I would recommend going on one of the tours as then I think they are played.

I found the museum overall rather underwhelming and...
