Man lernt einiges über das Leben auf See damals, vom sehr kundigen Captain, der die Situation an Bord der Wikinger anschaulich erzählt. Wer selbst eine Fahrt macht, kann ein wenig erahnen, wie abenteuerlich und anstrengend das Leben gewesen sein muss. Auch die Kinder hatten einen heiden Spaß Vielen Dank an das ganze Team.

Ende September 2023 ist das 15 m lange Wikingerschiff im Alten Hafen Hooksiel gesunken. Meines Wissens haben es Vandalen mutwillig zerstört und eine Reparatur ist für den Verein nicht möglich. Schade um dieses tolle Teil an diesem schönen Ort. Was gibt es doch für Gestörte auf...
