Opelbad — Attraction in Wiesbaden

Don’t go if you have other options since it’s disgusting and overcrowded! Swimming; despite the great view. this place is way overdue for proper renovation and a new management! Extremely overpriced (12€!) for a place which doesn’t have proper facilities to change, outdated facilities which urgently need to be refurbished, on-site staff which is not attending to its role, cleanliness of the pool etc. it’s too full in summer since no one checks on capacity, cleanliness, nor common norms and rules to ensure EVERYONE can enjoy a nice time. It smells of sweaty people and staff does not ensure common rules are being enforced- e.g. take a shower BEFORE you jump in the pool, leave at least one lane to swimmers, don’t stand in the middle of the pool, don’t cross from the side, don’t jump in from non designated areas, no eating at the pool, wear proper clothes and shoes , clean yourself !! And by the way, it’s a disaster to get there but he first place- no bus, no taxi, walking up a steep badly paced road. It smells and I am truly disgusted that this is what our tax money is being spent...

Oh, where do I even begin with this swimming pool service? If I could give them a negative rating, I would. The experience was an absolute disaster from start to finish. Their so-called "expert" technicians arrived late, looking like they just rolled out of bed. Not exactly a professional first impression.

But wait, it gets worse! The quality of their work was appalling.

And let's not forget about their customer service. The staff was rude, unresponsive, and indifferent to my concerns. I felt like they couldn't care less about their customers once they got their money.

In conclusion, I wouldn't wish this swimming pool service on my worst enemy. Avoid them like the plague unless you enjoy wasting your time, money, and sanity on incompetence and disappointment. Trust me; you'll be better off hiring someone else or taking care of your...

Beautiful pool in an amazing setting. Hard to get to and not very kid friendly. A good portion of the pool is dedicated to serious middle aged lap swimmers with Olympic training regimes. The staff does not speak English nor seem to have any desire to cater to non German speaking customers. The restaurant owner looked at me like I had two heads when I walked in barefoot. “Why would one do such a thing at a swimming pool?” After we were here for a bit, we realized that you can rent chairs at the entrance. That made the experience a little better. There is also a kids slide that kept our kids entertained for about an hour.
