Best thing is that it was warm and clean. The "art" part is as you can see in the photos. It's entangled metal, kid scribblings, pieces of cloth. 4 euros I would have not spent had I knew how bad it is. Do not bother with the exhibition. This is not a mueum but a library with scrap metal exhibition.

Ich war zur Eröffnung der Ausstellung "HYPNIC JERK - Von der Gleichzeitigkeit" von der Künstlerin VERA LOSSAU Im Museum. ...Alltagsgegenstände, historische Bilder und Symbole werden in Zeichnungen, Collagen, Skulpturen und Lichtobjekte in einen Kontext gesetzt. Der Eintritt ins Museum ist grundsätzlich frei, für die ständige und die Sonderausstellung. Es werden regelmäßige Führungen angeboten. Im Museumsgebäude ist auch die städtische Bibliothek integriert - eine tolle Kombination.

Sehr nettes kleines Museum mit einer wunderbaren Ausstellung an kinetischer Kunst, die immer wieder zum anschauen und ausprobieren anregt. Sehr freundliches Personal, dass gerne hilft. Und auch das lichtdurchflutete Bauwerk ist eine gelungene Mischung aus alt und neu.

Josephine Sagnas Bilder karikieren Frauen mit sichtlich afrikanischem Erbgut. Technisch interessant, thematisch eher fragwürdig bis bott, es werden überkommene Klischees reproduziert. Gleichzeitig erklärt sie textlich ihre Befindlichkeiten, sie sieht Mikroagressionen. --Tolles Haar, darf ich das mal anfassen? -- Geht man als blonder Europäer durch ein indigenes polynesisches Dorf kann das vorkommen, sogar Säuglinge grabbeln am Haar.
