The Jewish museum of the Rashi house, for an uninitiated person in these regards, like myself, is a very instructive experience.Being formed from three different sections, the museum is a true history lesson about the lives and tribulations of the Jewish people of Worms; about their tradtion, culture, and religion. The exhibits, being of very high quality, are accompanied by explanations in both German, and English. You also have the option of viewing a video. The ticket is quite cheap, and the lady that sells them extremely welcoming and kind.

This is surely a very important site for the medieval Ashkenaz, but there are not many historical relics/artifacts to see. The most amazing and lovely artifact is a candlestick shaped in the image of Zeus, originally placed in the synagogue. I will not show the picture here in case the crazy Haredim would steal and smash it.

The best staff. The ladies in the front desk were very polite and friendly. The museum is small but rich in history. I would come back for more. Baruch HaShem

Fascinating museum showcasing the Jewish history of the Shum cities. We arrived 30 minutes before closing, but the very kind staff graciously welcomed us in although they had already begun to close up. We were very thankful that we could still make the most of our short visit, although we could only manage to take in a fraction of all the museum had to offer. The informative exhibitions along with the friendly staff make this museum a must-visit for those interested in the history of the Shum Cities. The museum is almost entirely in German, but they have most of the texts translated into other languages compiled in little booklets, as well as online through a...

In this Museum I have seen quite attractive exhibitions including movies, pictures of Synagogues, antique buildings, houses and streets. These lively and well exhibited items lead me to the comprehensive picture of the of the jewish community in the year 1000 to 1500. I hope you won't miss this opportunity once you...
