The beautiful smooth ride from Accra up the is undoubtedly soothing.  The best comes from the Eastern Region. The beautiful landscape, roller coaster ride up the mountain never gets old. But to beat the traffic at Adenta and Pantang Junction you will have not set off early.  Although there’s a bit of a delay at the toll booth it’s nothing The infamous bread sellers welcome you upon reaching the toll booth.  You will get “butter and sugar bread” to buy. But what catches my attention are their names ” God is my helper, Afia bread boutique, sweet bread. Just to name a few. And also the plantain sellers. Do well to buy a loaf of bread. The almighty Palm wine. Now trust me when I say you will find the best palm wine joints there, fresh and cold. Go early for the fresh one’s, at Peduase you will see them lined up ready to serve, very affordable I tell you. You can buy from 10 cedis to 30 cedis depending on the size of the bottle. I always buy when I’m up there.

The weather, such a cold place and be sunny now and start raining heavily in few seconds. As it’s a mountainous area, Aburi is becoming a new place for settlers.  I entreat you to stay overnight to wake up to the dew and thick fog for the full experience.

The boiled maize or corn sellers, my second sought after palm wine. From Peduase all the way up to the gardens you will see indigenes busily arranging their corns in a pan to cook.  You can get on from 2 cedi to 3 cedis, it goes with dried coconut soaked in saltwater. So delicious

Aburi Botanical Garden, is a serene, conducive and historic massive garden, on aches of land that accommodates huge trees in various unique and breadth-taking speeches grown ages ago. The entire enclave is covered in well groomed green grass and paved pathways leading through to all beautiful sight-delightful areas of the far reaching gardens. Patches of spacious spaces have been created to allow for group gatherings, fanfares and children play grounds on the awesome greenery landscape the entire garden is. The location of Aburi Botanical gardens is in the endeared Aburi mountains, in the Eastern Region of Ghana, West Africa. Where the air and environment is notably naturally fresh, pure and cool. And ow, the sight of the high mountains and low valleys leading to the location is an experience on its own. And, regards to the people of Aburi. They compliment their environment, as they are beautiful, peaceful, receptive, respectful, brotherly and the least crime prone people. They also make delicious local delicacies and on sale, when people come around for programs at the gardens. They also have beautiful cultures and artworks around and for sale too. Have fun in serenity and security, on natural greenish landscape, pure-fresh airy environment, under the shadows of thick-tall uncommon "botanical" tress, welcoming culture and peaceful...

A great place where you can find different varieties of trees and many different species of trees and those that are not common or likely to be seen easily and even those that are extinct and there fore all efforts are been made by the forestry commission to protect it and even help get more seedlings of that same type of species.

The Serene atmosphere and the cool and coozy nature of the natural surrounding makes it very conducive for one to leave all the hassle and bassle of Accra to go have a retreat there.

The place allows people to hold functions such as parties, wedding ceremonies, funeral programs and refreshment, and even social gatherings.

The place has wonder and we'll learned tourist guides who are always ready to take visitors round the gardens and even ready to take any questions from the visitors to broaden the knowledge about the history and customs of the area.

The garden has a guest house so that visitors who want to have a night feel of the garden can also do so.

There is a wonderful canteen or restaurant where various delicious dishes are served there comprizing of bother local, continental, Oriental and other African dishes.

Go visit there and enjoy just as I...

Aburi botanical is a nice garden The entrance is nice with the palm trees alignment , it's pleasant to go there on sunny day The park is huge The pros are the fact that the entrance doe not cost that much , five cedis for Ghanaians and ten for foreigners, which is cheap The place is nice for family and friends , you can enjoy going through For social media influencer, it might be a good spot The cons are just the fact that , you may see people going through the park not knowing where they passed by and came from The park is not that highly clean due to the fact that there are people not having the habit of keeping places cleaned But overall, despite all these petit petit thing It's a nice place Allez y Aburi garden est un Jolie park , pour y aller seul ou avec des amis encore plus de la famille Lentree nest pas chere entre 5 et 10 cedis Il ya de jolies endroits pour les photos , mais soyez prudent a cause de ces personnes qui deanbulent dans le park sans pour autant quon sache dou ils viennent ni ou partent , et ce qui entraine le park a etre pas si propre a 100%, mais en gros , cest genial dy aller

The Gardens, as usual, still has a lot of greens with a relatively cool environment. Talk trees, shrubs and large leafy plants are a few of the things you'll see. It's a shame most of the plants were losing their names as at the time I visited. (I mean, that's one reason the Garden was made, right? What's a tree without it's name?😃) Here are a few things to note though: 1. The fee is GH¢5 per head, but you may want to budget little more; just in case. 2. The place has little to entertain you and your loved ones so it'll do you some good if you carry something to excite yourself along. 3. Also, take with you a bug spray or repellent🐜. Trust me, it'll come in real handy. I still have swells on my skin from the big bites.😫 4. It'll do you some good if you took a long your own food😋 and/or drinks. I'm not too sure they sell food over there. After all, nothing beats 'home food'😄 5. If you're from Madina, getting a car to and back from Aburi Botanic Gardens is quite easy. Rest assured😉 6. Have fun🎊. Take photos🤳. Take videos. Memories are too important to be lost.🍾🎂🎉
