Eastern Beach, Gibraltar — Attraction in Gibraltar

We enjoyed our time here whilst visiting Gibraltar. We stayed across the road so the location was excellent. In addition to this there is a large carpark directly opposite the beach with good access for wheelchairs/ push chairs. Showers available to wash off and public toilets easily to hand. The sand is soft and water clear, although a little cold to begin with but you soon get used to it. Amazing backdrop of the Rock behind the beach really sets the scene. I had the whole beach to myself in June. Its right next to the airport but there's only 6 flightsish per day so it actually makes it interesting. The sea is clear, shallow and waves are gentle. The beach is soft sand and there are showers to wash down with. There's a couple of beach bars for drinks and snacks but nothing but there beach and sea so if your kids get board quick look for a beach with more. There is a multi storey car park too.
