Like so much of Gibraltar we feel this has been a case of over-development - money at the expense of what was a most enjoyable environment. Whilst so called "progress" is inevitable we remember fondly the time we called this the new marina and Sheppards was alongside and high rise buildings were almost unknown.
The arrival of the Sunborn, years ago, as well as the high rise flats on the site of Sheppards Marina and the new casino blocked much of the view and the new development currently being built provides an almost total block of the view west when enjoying a beer at Biancas.
On a more positive note the planting of the greenery around Neptune House is definitely to be applauded.
