Klimatsias Beach — Attraction in Argostoli Municipality

This is a fabulous beach, it's not commercialized at all and it features a big car park, well made steps to the beach (only a few steps), a shower and so many fish, it's a snorkeling haven. There's a great tomb-stoning spot to the right off a limestone point, if you swim round this there's a pristine bay with lots of fish and a cave, totally secluded from the beach too The main beach does get shady in the late afternoon but the sea is shallow and remains in sunshine until 7pm. If you go to the left of the slip there's a much longer stretch of sand that gets sun later but the limestone cliffs are sheer and there are warnings for rockslides. Η παραλία Κληματσιάς, απέχει 12 περίπου λεπτά από το Αργοστόλι με κατεύθυνση προς ΝΑ μετά το χωριό (τα) Σπαρτιά. Αποτελεί την πιο ιδιαίτερη θα έλεγα σε εμφάνιση παραλία της ΝΑ ακτογραμμής της Νήσου των Κεφαλλήνων λόγω του πελώριου και κάθετου βράχου (ίσως πάνω από 20 μέτρα) που αποτελεί το σήμα κατατεθέν της. Μετά την πρώτη έκπληξη του βράχου, ο επισκέπτης μπορεί να απολαύσει το μπάνιο του σε μια υπέροχη αμμώδη κυρίως παραλία που προσφέρεται για οικογενειακές διακοπές. Δεν είναι οργανωμένη άρα πρέπει να έχετε μαζί σας τον απαραίτητο εξοπλισμό. Η θέα στη γύρω περιοχή είναι απερίγραπτη! Δεν υπάρχει περίπτωση να μην χαλαρώσετε, να μην γεμίζετε με ενέργεια ατενίζοντας το απέραντο γαλάζιο του Ιονίου πελάγους! Φεύγοντας από εκεί σήμερα πήρα μαζί μου έναν νόστο (nostalgia)!!! Σας εύχομαι να μπορέσετε να επισκεφθείτε αυτήν την παραλία έστω μια φορά αν βρίσκεστε ή πρόκειται να βρεθείτε στην πανέμορφη...
