NIGHTMARE! we called two times in advance to book and confirm all the details of our reservation (we did not book online we booked on the phone) we booked the “spa for couples” 130€ package, well… what a drama, we arrived at 2.30h being the reservation at 3pm but never started at that time as we had to wait FOURTY FIVE minutes for a doctor to ask me 3 questions I could have fulfill myself and take my tension with the same device she used for all the people before of me and for my bf after me (without cleaning it). Then already, later than expected, we where supposed to start the program (as described by themselves in the website) “The Program starts with Sauna or Steam Bath for detoxification and rejuvenation”. Well… no. We where sent on separate school-like locker-rooms to get change and go to what seemed like a public pool packed with people and with water not even spa hot, after not enjoying it at all we thought would be better couple experience to go relax at the sauna but SURPRISE! both the sauna and steam bath are closed! Thing that, despite we checked several times the website, we called them twice, we did the booking on the phone, and we interacted with 3 different people beforehand, none bothered to mention us. Os course we left to the reception to get an explanation of what happened and they said “oh yes is closed because of corona, they didn’t tell you?” Wow, obviously not, we replied, to what the management solution was “ah ok whatever then you didn’t pay yet right? You can just go”. Conclusion: services 0, customer care 0, experience 0, empathy 0. Of Loutraki Thermal spa the only true thing is that is in Loutraki, because with that amount of chlorine is not thermal water and the spa services do not operate. To end, mention that other couple just after us was claiming a refund as well...
Read moreHarmful, tricky and nonsense. This place has nothing to do with health and thermal treatments. Amount of chlorine in pools beyond your lungs could take and it goes without saying you can’t put chlorine in hot water. So the pool experience not therapeutical but rather dangerous for your health. So I tried to take private baths (18 euro a time). First few were ok, they forget to take you from radon bath on time but you can deal with it. Suddenly hot tap in my bath tub stopped working (?) and they bingo! - fulfilled bath with normal sweet water! I tried to explain there is a difference, no clue of personnel. Tried to talk to admins. But ladies in nice fairy tale gallons seem only being well trained to collect money from visitors. So if you happen to be in Loutraki for thermal water - dip yourself in the sea spring near by instead. It’s free and no nonsense. Or better go to Ikaria where you can see miracles radon waters could do for you if in right hands of people who know what they doing.. naturally being...
Read moreI booked for swimming pool-hamam and massage. Starting with the negative: I arrived on time but had to wait for medical examination before entering. Nobody told me so when I booked. if I knew I would had been there earlier. The hamam was not working and we were waiting for the lifeguard to check it. He was trying to fix it or arrange to be fixed and at the end we were told to use the sauna instead. The cooling pool outside sauna was full of chlorine, my swimming swuit was smelling chlorine even after washing it. Because of this delays I went to the massage with a 5-10 minutes delay that was "dedacted" from the 45 minutes treatment I was supposed to have- even though it wasn't my fault. The positive: staff is helpfull and friendly, place is very clean, massage treatment was good. Prices are average. If I visit the place again I will go just for the swimming pool. The healing power of the water and the water-massage in the pools are more than enough to make...
