If you like a natural cove and unorganised, small beaches then this is probably the best of its kind on Andros. You can park in the car park of the taverna just behind the beach (but do go and have a drink and some food in return). The beach is a mix of sand and pebbles and is mostly narrow (be warned, when ferries pass by out at sea, about ten minutes later you will get a spell of waves that come quite far up the beach, so don’t leave towels and possessions too far forward). The water is quite shallow and generally with a sandy bottom. There is great snorkelling around the rocks to the left (looking out to sea). As well as the very nice, authentic taverna there is a small church overlooking the beach and a friendly, elderly donkey in the field behind the beach (it likes green grass if you can pick some for it, and also bread from the taverna 😊)

Lovely small beach, just a 6min drive from the west port. There are no parasols, but you can take shade in the rocks or in the small church. There is sand on the left side, but it's mainly rocky. The water is crystal clear There's also a restaurant right behind it, across the road, where you can buy drinks.

Beautiful small sandy beach between Gavrio and Batsi. Quiet and sheltered from wind. Shade from the small church. One fresh shower available. An adorable donkey will greet you and ask to be patted, adding a live note to the zorbaesque setting

A beautiful beach is clear and feels like you are alone there. The beach is hidden by the church and there is a sea of privacy. It can be reached by car up to 10 meters from the sea. In front of the church there is a tavern that we did not check out. At noon it was still not...
