The best hotel in Crete – no exaggeration!

We chose the best hotel on the island – and it exceeded all expectations! The views were breathtaking, and everything was designed for true relaxation. Service, cleanliness, food – all top-notch.

The staff were kind, helpful, and always ready to assist. A special thank you to Bord’s San Fernando who found my lost hat! He spent the whole day patiently helping me search. I truly hope the management rewards him – he deserves to be Employee of the Year! ❤️

Some people say the food is repetitive… but honestly, how much do you need? Every day you’ll find fresh fruits, vegetables, sweets, nuts, ice cream, pasta, burgers, local sauces, poultry, fish, seafood – and that’s just a small part. Now multiply that by breakfast, lunch, dinner, late dinner, plus à la carte restaurants. It’s more than enough and absolutely delicious!

Rooms were cleaned daily, with towels and linens changed when needed. Everything felt tidy, comfortable, and well-maintained.

And a surprising bonus – the water in the hotel! My child and I both have unruly hair, and usually chlorine or sea water makes things worse. But here? Magic. After washing, our hair was silky smooth, shiny, and tangle-free – we couldn’t believe it. Even our friends noticed the difference.

Based on the rates, definitely worth seeing and staying here. Try to avoid weekends as the place is rather crowded. Actually, there are two parts of the beach, one as a hotel beach with sunbeds and umbrellas you could rate... But the other part on the right is more interesting as there is a taverna- restaurant Plaitis providing free sunbeds and excellent fresh food, with great selection (salads, seafood, meat etc.) with more than acceptable prices 😁. The beach mostly is windy, but clean with sand, in water with small pebbles. So all in all strongly...

Wir sind am 21.9.24 hier angereist. Und waren von Anfang an zu Hause. Alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Auch beim Buffet sind alle wirklich bemüht immer alles recht zu machen. Die Tische u Stühle werden nach jedem Gast desinfiziert. Das Essen ist nicht immer heiß. Ich denke aber, es ist ein logistisches Problem. Aber was hier aufgefahren wird, hat uns echt umgehauen. Und sollte auch für jeden etwas dabei sein. Am Strand gibt es immer freie Liegen. Aber dort stehen nur " Snacks" zur Verfügung. Stück Kuchen, Obst und evtl ein Wrap. Zum Essen muss man dann wieder rauf zu den Restaurants. Getränke am Strand bis 18.00 Uhr. Wir hatten All in. Oben an den Bars ist alles bis 23.00 Uhr All inklusive. Das Animations Programm ist nicht unseres. Hat uns nicht so gefallen. Allerdings werden auch unterschiedliche Musikalische Highlights oben an der Poolbar veranstaltet. Die wirklich schön waren. Auf jeden Fall sollte man gut zu Fuss sein. Wir haben 121 Stufen vom Strand bis zu unserm Zimmer. Es fährt zwar eine kl Bimmelbahn ,den ganzen Tag zu den Zimmern rauf und runter. Aber die muss man auch erwischen, oder lust haben darauf zu warten. Und ab 21.00 Uhr fährt sie gar nicht mehr. Da muss man dann eh laufen. Für Kinder wird hier auch einiges gemacht. Dazu kann ich aber jetzt nicht ganz so viel sagen, weil wir beide alleine gereist sind. Fazit: Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung von uns! Und es gibt bestimmt noch viel mehr zu erzählen, aber ich muss jetzt ins Wasser. Ich hoffe ihr habt auch irgendwann einen so tollen und erholsamen...
