Tolo Beach — Attraction in Municipality of Nafplio

Having read about the bad service at Ammos, we opted to rent beach chairs with the other provider and were happy with the service and price: 10 Euros for 2 chairs for the adults and the two kids (7 and 10) got a chair each (free of charge). Perhaps we got the discount as we went in the middle of October and it looked like things were shutting down for the season.

The water is amazing - very clean, great for the kids to stand in the water and play games for hours on end and beautiful views out to sea.

The three rating is for the cleanliness on the beach - so many cigarette butts and a lot of plastic. I cleaned the area round where we sat as best I could but if my kids were smaller, I would have been worried about them playing in the sand and all the cigarettes as I kept...

We were a little way out from the main beach, close to the car park, the Organised beach was ok €10 for 2 chairs and a parasol, which you can use all day. There is a menu of food bits, quite expensive but I guess that's how they make a bit of money. The water is Gorgeous, shallow for a long way out! Perfect for little ones! There are water sports and boat rides. They have showers and changing rooms. A lovely place for a relaxing time at the beach! It's a nice long beach with shallow calm water. Ideal for families with kids, but also for others. The place has a unique ambiance with several beach bars where you can stay at their sunbeds for any consumption in the bar. Snacks and drinks are good on reasonable prices. We tried Remember bar and Nelly's coffee, both are cool places, with nice stuff and good locations. We did not go to the organized part of the beach as we had great time in one of the bars.
