Amazing and beautiful setting, water is so clear and great for swimming and snorkelling. Paid €5 entry into area, €40 for 2 beds and umbrella. Staff wise with the exception of one main guy (who sings all the time) who looked after us at the remote bar area are so arrogant and unfriendly. After spending a small fortune (for us) throughout day on below mediocre food and shockingly bad cocktails we paid the bill and made our way to the main bar and was met by pretentious staff. Asked if they could us help us as we walked in the bar area with some self righteuos attitude, we couldn't of felt more unwelcome. We said we wanted some drinks in the sun and were told where you can't sit...in empty bar! We sat down and waited for about 20 minutes before waitress, who obviously isnt happy working in hospitality dropped some menus on our table and walked away. We eventually went to the bar to order drinks and were giving plastic cups for our wine and beer....barman never even looked up at us, acknowledged us or gave us a smile, just a dodgy look when told to fill the plastic cup up to the top with beer. Would of given 1 star if the setting wasn't...

Sadly my last visit of 2023. Only 12 months til i return.

I left a long review after my visit one week ago Oct 18 2023 so i wont bore folks with the same details.

We had 1 bottle of beer cost €6 1 litre bottle still water €3. A reminder to be prepared or face an expensive day out, unless thats not a problem.

I will add the spa closed today at 7pm. And the weather was too nice, no rain today.

I travelled today by hire car. It is a small car costing €93 for 5 days so €18 per day. A taxi one way Rhodes to Kallithea €17, so €34 round trip. Even the bus €10 for 2 persons return, and i had to get down to the bus station from my hotel instead of jumping into my Aygo parked 50 metres away. Granted driving in the city is a challenge and wont be to the liking of everyone. But for me driving there was so much better, able to arrive and leave when i wanted rather than sticking to bus times...every 45 mins or so, sometimes longer.

I wont name the hire company but the name is similar to the name...

In a country where usually everybody is helpful and kind, we found at the entrance of this hotel the most irritating person. So we arrived at 5pm and we wanted to get some info before paying. When the guy said the entrance was 3 Euro per person (as advertised) I asked if the price was the same at this time of the day. The guy answered very bad that this is a wrong question (what??? A customer is doing wrong questions???). I tried to low down the situation, even if I was very easy but he didn't make any change in his behavior. When I asked what was inside because I was going to pay, he said this is a monument with spring and beach. When I asked if there were sunbed, he said literally "you better find another beach". I tried to understand better if there were sunbeds and he said he cannot guarantee (that means that probably there are but at this time of the day they are occupied). We ended up not entering because of the behavior of...

Would really love to rate it 5 ⭐ But I can't do that this year. The reasons: Jordan's grill had been shut down by the authorities. After 30 years in the business 💔 Lots of rubbish is lying on the cliffs and in the sand. A used condom thrown under a sunbed was quite gross to find when you wanted to lie down. People can do whatever they want to. But be respectful and don't take it for granted that it's someone else's problem to pick up after you. Some ladders from the cliffs going to the sea have also been removed. Leading you to go on a very exciting slippery journey into the sea. Hoping you don't need to have a date with the orthopaedic consultant later in the day at the local A&E The lovely parts: The clean water, perfect for snorkeling! The beautiful variety of fish in the sea. The non-overcrowded area The beautiful view And the most important: The beach Felines roaming freely due to Kalithea Cats just above 🐈 ♥️
