Fava Beach — Attraction in Municipality of Sithonia

Beautiful sandy beach good for swimming and relaxing. Take your water and umbrella if you want to stay longer.

The beach has fine, clean sand that invites laziness. The water entry is rather rocky, so pay attention.

The water gets deeper relatively fast but is crystal clear and great for swimming.

There is no natural shade and no beach bar or toilets. Bring umbrella and water to stay longer.

From the free parking spot (use Google Maps) you'll be on the main beach in less than 2 minutes. Go left for a succession of small beaches if you prefer more secluded spots. Or go right, through the water, for even more...

Don't forget to bring your own sun umbrella because there is not one tree nearby where you cn find some shade. However, this beach is beautiful, it has a good view of Athos.and it is enjoyable in every way: the sand is soft, the sea world is amazing (gut for snorkeling) and it is clean. Beautiful scenery, easy parking, no beach bar or anything so you need to bring your own umbrella, food and drink. You can walk through water to a quieter beach if you wanted, but it was a big enough size and not too crowded in late June. It has lots of rocks around to climb and explore. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because the water had lots of little pieces of plastic floating in it.
