I honestly don’t even know where to begin. We came with high expectations — and left with even higher levels of disappointment, mostly due to the appalling service.
This is a small, makeshift bar on a supposedly “wild” beach, yet it’s completely taken over — I can only hope legally. Right from the start, you're greeted by an aggressively rude man who, with no visible authority, dictates where you're allowed to sit or lie down. He insists on placing people in the back rows, while the front ones — which we asked for — were allegedly “reserved.” There were no signs of reservation, nor do I believe it was even an option. Most likely, they were being saved for his friends or for people willing to pay extra under the table. The entire attitude was “take it or leave it,” and his tone was downright disrespectful and hostile.
The sunbeds were in disgraceful condition — dirty, broken, completely worn out. Technically free, but with a mandatory consumption of around €10, which feels more like a forced cover charge. The umbrellas? A joke. Falling apart. The toilets? Disgusting. And the crowd? Overwhelming — far too many people crammed into a space that’s clearly not equipped to handle it.
The only redeeming feature was the natural beauty of the surroundings — the sea, the rocks, the stunning view. But that’s about the only thing this place doesn’t ruin.
Would not recommend. A clear case of how poor management and arrogance can ruin even the most...
Read more🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Orange Beach – A Hidden Paradise in Sithonia! If you're looking for one of the most breathtaking beaches in all of Greece, look no further than Orange Beach (Portokali Beach) in Sithonia. This place is pure magic — a hidden gem that perfectly combines natural beauty, crystal-clear waters, and a sense of serene escape.
The emerald-turquoise sea is unbelievably transparent, making it perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or just floating and enjoying the calmness. The water glows in the sun, and the contrast with the white rocks and soft golden sand is just like a postcard.
The beach is surrounded by sculpted granite formations, pine trees, and nature trails — ideal for exploring or finding your own quiet spot. There are small hidden coves nearby that feel completely private and untouched.
It’s great for families, couples, and adventurous travelers alike. The beach bar on site has everything you need — drinks, snacks, sunbeds — but the real beauty is in the unspoiled nature all around.
Whether you're staying in Metamorfosi, Nikiti, or Vourvourou, Orange Beach is an absolute must-visit. The view of Mount Athos in the distance adds a mystical charm that makes this beach truly unforgettable.
Tip: Arrive early in the morning to grab a good spot and enjoy the beach before it gets crowded.

Read more❌ I do not recommend this beach, especially for families with children. From the very beginning, we were met by a rather rude man in charge of the beach, who warned us that children are not allowed in the area. This was surprising, considering the beach was full of families and kids playing in the water. Assuming it was an exaggeration, we decided to stay and took a free sunbed at the far end of the beach. Shortly after, a polite young woman came to take our order. We received our drinks and paid without issue. However, not long after, the same man returned — this time in a very aggressive tone — telling us the area was unsafe for children because there was a power generator placed right next to the beach and dangerously close to the water. According to him, there had even been accidents in the past. While I appreciated his honesty about the risks, the way he communicated was completely unacceptable: aggressive, defensive, and disrespectful. This behavior, combined with the potential safety hazards, raises serious concerns about the legality and proper management of this location. It’s unfortunate that such situations still occur in tourist spots frequented by families. I strongly advise anyone considering this place to be extremely cautious — especially if you have children — or better yet, choose a different...
