For us, this is the best and most beautiful/amazing/spectacular beach in Sithonia.

Recommended time of arrival: 08:30AM to 10:00AM (it gets full pretty fast so the sooner the better)

After 17:00? (most people start leaving around mid day, but it's not guaranteed)

LOGISTICS: From the main road you go down a dirt road that is fairly wide, two cars can pass by each other no problem, fairly smooth surface, no rocks or huge bumps. Just don't drive like a maniac. There is parking available at the end of the road. From there it's a 2 minute walk to the actual beach bar and beach.

I saw some comments complaining about the road, THEIR BEING DRAMATIC, don't drive like a maniac, pay attention to the road an you'll be fine.

FACILITIES: The beach is managed by a beach bar, The umbrellas are free of charge on the condition that you order from the bar. There is also an area of the beach where you can put your own umbrella and towel, free of charge. Servers can take your order at the sunbed and bring it to you (only cash payment) You can pay by card but only if you go to the bar. Huge variety of drinks and decent variety of food (made on the spot) Porta Potty is available in the parking area, 2 stalls, very clean always and they never smell bad, inside or outside. Trash bags available on the beach plus an area for recyclable aluminium cans.

THINGS TO DO: Snorkel, great spots around the rocks and the fish are not shy Swim and just enjoy the clear blue waters and the fine white sand. Hike the cliffs to the left of the beach. Enjoy the view of mount Athos from your sunbed (yes the famous mountain can be seen very clearly on clear days) Sunbathing is always an option. Enjoy a nice cocktail and great conversations with friends or even strangers.

All in all it's a MUST see if you go...

There is a parking extension at the end of the road, but you can also park along the road. If you drive from Sarti to Vourvourou, you first come across Orange (Portokali) beach and after 8 km you turn towards Kavurotripes Paradise beach. There is a parking lot extension there next to the highway where there are usually more cars parked, so they can be your guide as well. You have to walk from the parking lot to the beach and just follow the path through the forest. The beach can be reached in just 3-4 minutes on foot and is not too steep. As you first approach the beach, you will see stunning turquoise water that gets even more beautiful as you get closer. What awaits you at the end of the road is truly an amazing reward for your effort. In these two bays, everything is delightful, first of all the color of the water, then the fine sand, the long shallow water, and then the smooth white rocks, the beautiful green surroundings, i.e. the pine trees. On the left bay, which is even bigger and nicer, but also on the right, there are sunbeds and umbrellas, so there is very little space left for those who have their own equipment. Above the beach is a canteen with fast...

We visited "Paradise Kavourotripes Beach" at the late end of August 2024 and were initially overwhelmed by the number of tourists at the beach bar and the crowded area below. We almost turned back - but decided to walk a little further. As we moved away from the bar and carefully climbed over the rocks we discovered a small, secluded beach that was quiet, beautiful and perfect for swimming.

However what was really disappointing - and frankly disturbing - was the sight of human excrement and toilet paper scattered around the natural environment. The odour was clearly noticeable and detracted considerably from the otherwise stunning surroundings.

To all wild campers and visitors: PLEASE use the available sanitary facilities instead of doing your business in the wilderness. It's not just about preserving the beauty of this special place - but also about respecting the environment and other beachgoers. This kind of pollution is both disgusting and preventable. Let's all do our part to ensure that paradise truly remains a paradise for...

Beautiful beach and views but spoiled by overcrowding. We avoided the beach itself and managed to find a quieter spot away to the side on the rocks where there are great views of Mt Athos. Great snorkelling opportunities. It’s a shame that people who come for the beauty of the place leave so much litter. There are no toilets which is to be expected in a remote place but that means it’s not the cleanest place and I wouldn’t want to venture far back in to the shaded areas just in case. The beach bar has music playing the whole time which I find disturbs the tranquility of what must have been a beautiful location before it got very popular.

Gorgeous sandy beach within huge rocks. Access from the main road not too easy by car and also the last part by foot, but the stunning view including mount athos pays off. Truck with drinks and some food stuff available at reasonable prices. Approximately 40 umbrellas plus sunbeds for free, unfortunately quite small and really close to each other, so difficult to get enough shadow for 2 or 3 persons. The sea and its colours are amazing, though the water can be quite shaky through the waves... altogether really worth a visit, but come early as it gets really crowded in peak season
