Not so wide as one can imagine the water games entertainment parks but this one provides the right amount of joy for families However , beside the many positive points this place has , there are some visitors repellant activities that need to be taken into considerations
The pros : (this is where the 4/5 rating comes from)
Safety is at the utmost focus of a professional crew who don’t miss a chance to align everyone here to safety rules
comfy seating and privacy : sunbathing stretchers and coziness make it joyful to families and couples to enjoy the day. Thanks to the way chairs are paired, each group can sit together with adequate distance respected from other visitors
advantageous pricing for families - opt for he family package while booking for a pocket friendly bill
The disadvantages:
The photo-shooters: or cameramen as it reads on their shirts - these guys are spread everywhere on the waterpark, they continuously solicit everyone for photoshoots and there are 3 problems with this :
continuous solicitations: they annoy your privacy when you’re a couple or swimming with your kid
unconsented photo-shooting of minors: while you kids are playing on the slopes , cameramen convince them to take some photos for them without your parental consent . Later you should go and check at the cameramen booth what unconsented photos were taken for your kid(s) by a totally stranger person. To note that this practice isn’t announced in any of the parc publishings.
the surprise comes when you go to buy the photos taken for your kid(s) , exorbitant pricing model - 10 € for each of the 20-30 photos taken for each kid , 60€ if the photos would be sent to you by mail !
This surely doesn’t work for most especially on a well calculated vacation day , and we truly wish that this practice be reviewed and improved...
Read moreAn unforgettable day at Aquapolis Athens!
I visited Aquapolis Athens on a weekday, which turned out to be a fantastic choice—there was no wait at the entrance at all, which made the start of the day smooth and stress-free.
From the moment we arrived, the place felt clean, well-organized, and welcoming. The staff at the entrance were polite and efficient, quickly scanning tickets and guiding us with a smile.
The layout of the park is very intuitive—lockers and changing rooms are clearly marked and easy to access. Everything felt hygienic and well-maintained. The showers had good pressure and warm water, which is a plus after water slides!
Now, the slides… wow! There’s something for everyone—from thrilling adrenaline-pumping rides like the Magic cone and king Cobra, to more relaxed ones like the Wave Pool. The lifeguards were attentive at every attraction and maintained a great balance between safety and fun.
The kids’ area was a standout—colorful, interactive, and full of water games. Families will love how much there is for younger visitors to enjoy. Shaded seating and nearby food stands made it easy for parents to relax while keeping an eye on their little ones.
Speaking of food, the park offers a variety of snacks and meals, and the pizza was surprisingly good! There’s even a slushie stand and shaded areas.
I really appreciated the ample sunbeds and shaded lounges, especially in the quieter corners of the park—perfect for taking a break without leaving the action.
Cleanliness throughout the park was top-notch, including the bathrooms, which were spotless—a rare find in busy attractions like this.
Overall, Aquapolis Athens exceeded my expectations. It’s the perfect mix of fun, relaxation, and quality service. Highly recommended for solo visitors, couples, and...
Read moreWater park was okay, mostly underwhelming for the crazy entrance fee of 26 euro. The staff there however were awful. There's a 120kg limit to go on the slides supposedly because the inflatable donuts could not handle it, which isn't indicated anywhere on their site. As a result my friend who weighs 130kg was barred from going on them. So far fair enough, but one of the friendlier support staff there told us that since my friend hadn't understood this (again not indicated on their site) and he hadn't gone in the water yet / had only been 15 minutes since we got in, he could ask for a partial refund at the entrance office since he'd only be able to go in the pool basically. That made him feel a bit better.
But upon going to the entrance office to ask about said partial refund, we were greeted by a horrible employee there who insisted that since my friend had been made aware of the weight limit prior to going in, he wasn't entitled to the partial refund no matter what. When I told her that the person inside had told us otherwise, she laughed and told us I was making that up, completely ruining both of our moods for no reason whatsoever.
Not worth it, there are far better water parks in Attica / close to Athens (try the one at Isthmus), the price is too much for what they offer and the staff is awful. Do not...
