Paralia Kakovatos — Attraction in Municipality of Zacharo

I grow up in this beach which os endless in any direction and I have great memories. This beach it contains anything you want from one serious beach. Sand all over the place which not make your feet to bleed. Instead this beach is great to play any kind ball game (if there is people around), you can making jogging or light walk, you can enter and swim without fear cause the water is swallow and general safe. The water has not the greatest colour but is clean and very warm. I prefer it a bit colder but if you enter a bit more deeper you will get colder water. Overall this beach offer you everything. Is very big and everyone can find place to sit or play with friends. Also contain one great lifeguard which love her job. Always there on guard, clean the beach from dirt etc. Safe to bring...

It was the worst experience I ever had! I’ve been in many places at Kyparissiakos gulf but this specific one was full of plastic straws, plastic bags, bottles and fishing nets. Very nice Beach overall. Water is clean and usually calm but can get a tad wavy some days. Has a nice area with beach chairs and umbrellas available and are usually free as long as you order some food or drinks while you’re there. Really nice place to spend the day with a few nice restaurants...
