If 0 stars was a thing, I'd give it. Unless you come with your own umbrella and chairs/towels, don't bother. The first row sunbeds are 70€ organized by a bunch of crooks who call themselves Greek. As a Greek myself, this is embarrassing and humiliating. How are you charging 70€ for the first row, and then 30€ for rows of sunbeds atleast 50ft from the shoreline (they call this second row). If you're good with burning money, go for it. Otherwise the scenery and beach is ok, nothing special. You get to see a bunch of rocks if that entices you.
Instead, make your way to Golden Beach on the other side of Paros and enjoy much better service, much better padded sunbeds and water, along with an extensive menu and drinks. I've been to Paros three times and this is the worst I've seen it. Wake up to the owners, you're not Mykonos. They do not have good sunbeds and are...
Read moreA small beach with nice sands. We bought a return boat ticket from Naoussa to reach the beach, costs €6.5 per person. Last boat to the beach is 16:30 and return to Naoussa at 18:00.
The beach itself is quite small with like approximately 20 umbrellas with two sunbeds under each umbrella. It cost €15 to rent the umbrella/tent with the two sunbeds under it. You can also buy drinks and some snacks there. The guy will bring it to your tent.
The water on the beach is crystal clear and the sand under your foot is amazingly soft. The rock formation is very nice, but seeing the real thing was a bit disappointing because in the photos found on the internet, it looked grander and much more pronounced.
Nevertheless, it was a nice beach to sunbath and swim. We spent about 2...
Read moreWe took the ferry from town to Kolympethres on our last full day in Paros. It was super easy, you’re there in less than 15 minutes and you do not need to prebook anything. I think it was 10 EUR per person round trip. Pick up for the return ferry is the same pier and I think they come every 30 minutes.
A lot of people complain about the cost of the day beds here, and I agree they are pretty steep for the quality of bed that you get. But we just bought our own towels and mat to sit on while we were drying off. No big deal. We had a good time - the water is very calm and easy to swim in. There are hardly any waves at all. But if you want cute pictures, I do recommend coming out on the first ferry because as we were leaving in the early afternoon,...
