Visited this beach yesterday. Arrived quite early and so got a parking spot in the smaller of the two carparks at 10 euro for the day.

Bearing in mind I'm used to driving in the UK and this was a hire car, the hairpins down just required extra attention, but I reiterate it was early.

We decamped at the initial beach just outside the cafe. 3 sunbeds at 25 euro. The sea could only be accessed between rocks, again not so bad if your confident enough.

We realised the more open beach was a little further down, but to get there required a little scrambling, difficult if you have any mobility issues, but i saw people with babies, toddlers whilst laden with most of decathlon or go outdoors making the trip, it was worth it, the waters were all shades of tropical blue, and warm, easy also to enter and exit with no rocks.

We returned to our sunbeds near the cafe and had a bite to eat, typical beach food, all ok, prices reasonable too.

As for the return, i'd like to think im a confident / capable driver even on foreign roads, but going up did scare the bejeezers out of me, its mostly as the road is now lined with parked cars, so new arrivals and leavers are competing for limited space on narrow roads, i had to reverse down a few times, thankful on other bends others did, i can imagine at peak exit time this produced quite a bottleneck. Driving with the wheel on the left, just added to the experience.

Would I go again, whilst the sea was amazing, all other things combined its a no, if they kept the roads clear, the drive up and down would...

This beach is the definition of a tourist trap. I had a nightmare experience dealing with the owner of the only bar, the parking guy and the ‘enforcer’ responsible for the beach seats, all being part of the same ‘organisation’. This happened after telling the bar owner that since I waited more than 40 min for my food and saw at least 6 people that were server before me, I don’t need the food anymore. The owner became completely mad and very aggressive to the point that I felt unsecure for my kids and my family. This escalated into a nightmare when he called the guy from the parking and the ‘beach enforcer’ to intimidate us. I was afraid that the guy responsible for the parking is going to damage my car. Meanwhile the muscle guy uttered all kinds of swears, was very pushy and physical and asked us to leave the beach, as if the beach was their property. Being afraid for the security of my family I left having my phone camera running to make sure the ‘enforcer’ would not try to hurt us in any way. This experience reminded me of horror movies with tourist being trapped in secluded places by mad people. Luckily this happened in the middle of the day on a beach full of people. I felt I should have gone to the police but then I thought I didn’t want to spend time there or thinking more about what happened. Hope I will forget this nightmare and only remember the beautiful experiences...

The beach is nice, the road is tough but being stranded on a remote place with only one alternative for food, drinks and parking and dependent on the people there is a horrifying experience. The people running this place, who might think they own the beach and the tourists, behave like a mafia gang setting up and enforcing rules as they please. Me and my kids got shouted in the bar because the owner, who might have been drunk or high, thought I was too fussy with your requests. Then, I was asked to leave the patio, which is the only patio on the beach. But the worst came when the patio owner called the beach 'security' and asked him to make a point. The muscle guy was sent to harass me and my family on the beach up to a point where I felt completely insecure . Even the parking guy was 'interested' to know where my car was, luckily was parked on the road far from their reach. Such horrific experience could ruin a whole vacation. Luckily for me I was there in the middle of the day and with many other horrified tourists around. Hope I will learn to forget it. Authorities and police should do way more to protect tourists in remote and dark places like this. Be aware that going there for a day you will be treated like s...t and might even risk your...

This is one of those places which is half brilliant, half horrid. The brilliant bit is the sea. It's the most brilliant blue I've ever seen. However, it shelves quickly and the waves are strong, so be careful getting out. I was knocked over and faceplanted the shore 🤣. The beach is white shingle, there are beds/parasols to rent or you can take your own. There is a bar with one toilet. There is no phone signal so they can only take cash. Carpark was €10 for the whole day. Now for the bad point - the drive to get there was TERRIFYING. Admittedly, I do have a specific fear of cliffs and precipices, but even my hubby said it was hair raising and he's not normally bothered. The road to get down to the beach is 1.5 cars wide, so passing is a challenge. There are about 20 hairpin bends, none have safety barriers, which leaves you terrified you'll drive off and crash down the mountain. I'd love to go back, but I'm not doing that journey again EVER. If that kind of drive doesn't bother you, you'll love it!

A very nice, quiet beach. It is partially organised so you will find sunbeds and umbrellas for EUR 15 / day (2 beds + 1 umbrella). It has a shaded parking lot at the verry bottom of the road for a fee of EUR 8 / day. You can also use the shower and changing cabins next to the parking lot. The beach itself is pebbely but the seabed is almost sandy. There are a few boulders on the northern side that people use for cliff dives. The access road gets narrow at certain points, but if you navigate it carefully there shouldn't be any problems. Also, it has some rough asphalt segments further down towards the end. I wouldn't recommend going with massive vehicles as RVs or camping vans. The overall experience is pleasant, you can enjoy a stunning, uncrowded, beach and the road downhill offers some amazing views as well.

I visited in early September 2024. It’s a beautiful unique beach, with beautiful rocks and crystal clear water. It’s also connected to Megali Petra beach which is also a must visit. Parking is EUR 10 for the day, theres a dirt road parking lot or if you drive down a bit further theres covered parking, both the same price. Theres one toilet, changing facilities and a basic small beach cafe before you get onto the beach. Information on the drive to the beach: I’m an experienced driver and I found the drive to hard work. There are narrow parts, lots of twists and turns, hairpin turns, and when I visited there was the added obstacle of very deep potholes in the road. I would advise to drive slowly! The beaches you find at the end of the tricky drive are well worth it! Enjoy!
