Wild beach. Long, reasonably wide. No facilities whatsoever - bring whatever you think you'll need. Mix of sand, pebbles and rocks. The seafloor is mostly rocks, there's the occasional sea urchin so make sure that you're prepared. Decent depth for swimming, there is the occasional sticking rocky "island" (say, 20cm below sea level) so wear goggles and inspect your surroundings to avoid accidents.
"Direct" access is via a briefly steep narrow path, flip-flops won't be the most comfortable on your way there.
Car access is surprisingly decent - less than 5min of walking if you know how to drive offroad, perhaps not the best for a low-ish sedan as it might scrape in a few spots if you approach incorrectly.
Bicycle access is another story - not very convenient to bring to the beach given the steep, slippery path... or rather - not too convenient to take back up.
Parking "space" is somewhat limited - I'd say 30 cars all along the road would be pushing it. It's a nice, quiet beach though, and this is helping it...
Read moreWe visited this beach yesterday and loved it's unspoilt beauty. Access wasn't as bad as I expected after reading reviews. We were able to drive a standard small car within 5 minutes walk of the beach, just need to pick your route. The final walk down was easy and not an issue in flipflops. Also it is easy to access the sea in barefoot no problem at all. The best thing we arrived at 11am and for 30 mins we were the only people on the beach. Even at its busiest there were only about 20 people or so. There is only one tree for natural shade in the middle. For us we don't like the big crowds and all the chairs so this was by far the nicest beach we...
Read moreThe beach was quiet and great for snorkeling. It's a 10 minute drive from Limenaria. You can't park near it, so count on a 10 minute walk once you park as well. You will also need to bring your own parasol, food and beverages as there are no restaurants or cafes nearby. The water goes deep fairly quickly, so it's not ideal for small children. Additionally, the water is clean and there isn't rubbish on the beach as on some other beaches. If you prefer low-key, quiet and uncrowded beaches, this should denifitely be one...
