I have been many time on this beach, and enjoyed so much. But this year it was a real disappointment. Whole beach was taken over by beach bar. We arrived as a group of 4 adults and 2 children, and a pug. We wanted to take 2 sunbeds. I have payed 20€ for that. Next to those 2 sunbeds we put 2 small chairs and 1 umbrella. Girl who is employed by that beach bar, told me that we can't do that, we need to take one more set. I tried to explain to her that on the board it is written that it's 10€ per sunbed, not for a space on that beach. And that they don't respect the law and leave some space for people who want to enjoy without paying. You can't pay with card ( probably to pay lower taxes ), and you don't get receipt. Extremely unprofessional staff of that beach bar. Also, I assume that that girl and boy who work there are not legally employed. Also, the "free" coffee that you get with paying a sunbeds, are from a automatic machine. The worst kind of coffee. I hope that local greeks will do something and make this beach as it was before. I will do my best to report that beach bar...

The price for 1 person is 15 Euro including one drink, which I consider expensive for Tassos. I took one coffee, I placed it in the sand next to me, because it was windy, not to fall down. I turned my back on the coffee for just 30 seconds, and it disappeared. After asking around it appeared that the lady from the beach bar throw it away, full cup of coffee, without even asking me. When I told her, she did not know what to say or how to react. The beach is small but overcrowded. Too much people are allowed in. Just infront of me on 2 beds/1 umbrella were allowed 4 adults with 6 kids - 10 people. This is how the beach becomes full and not so pleasant.
I took this photo on sunset from above. The nature is stunning! I would...
Read moreAtspas Beach is a small ( beacause of tourists) but super beautiful beach near Skala Maries. The water is really clear and calm, perfect for swimming and just floating around. It is a great spot if you want to relax without loud music or too many people. The sand is soft and there are some rocks on the side where you can snorkel and see a few fish, not crazy much but still nice. Since the beach is small it can get full quickly in the summer so it’s better to come early if you want a good spot. There are sunbeds you can rent and a small bar with drinks and snacks nearby. The whole place feels cozy and peaceful, great for couples or families who want to chill without the big beach party vibe. Definitely one of those hidden gems you don’t expect but...
