Rosonkremos Beach — Attraction in Thassos Municipality

The beach it is not very spectacular, but is it crowdy due to the existence of the nearby hotel. The sand strip has about 150 m long and 20-25 m wide, with a three sunbeds rows in the central and left side. We found without problem a parking place and also we get sunbeds (but on that they there were mostly “smokebeds”. We tried to ignore the very large and dense smoke clouds that were covering the entire area and blocking the sun, creating an unreal yellow light, including underwater (see the pictures). Because we tried to ignore the vegetation fire danger (we were just at the beginning of our twelve days’ vacation in Thassos) we started our snorkeling exploration of the left side of the beach were there is an underwater rocky extension of the land, separating the Rosogramos beach from the Notos beach. Anyhow, the underwater landscape is not so monotonous like the beach itself. My score appreciation for this snorkeling side...

Wonderful beach, close to a pine tree forest. You may park your car there for free and go to the beach. There are two areas with sunbeds and umbrellas. One on the right belongs to the hotel, but you may use them with a consumption of 20 euro per set. The prices of the hotel are friendly. The sunbeds are under pine trees with a nice shadow in the morning. There is another small beach bar on the left, offering drinks and food. The free area of the beach is also enough. There are just a few stones entering the water, but you do not meet aqua shoes. This beach is a must when you are in this...

Beautifull beach, with sand and clear water (5 start + for it). Notice: if you choose to stay on the sunbeads there, choose the ones on the left, from the hotel, we were unluky to choose the ones from the middle, and we had abolutley no services, toilet in the back of the owner's garden that looked like it was passed by a hurricane, no showers and for 3 Euro the worse cofee ever, made in an unasanitary beach bar on a camping lamp with "Nescafe" solving powder...0 stars for this unpleasant...
