The Archaeological Museum of Veroia is one of the most important archaeological museums in Macedonia, Greece. The museum was established in 1965 in a building constructed especially for the purpose in Elia. Finds from the Palaeolithic to the Ottoman period are displayed in its three halls.

Nice, small museum with artifacts from the Veria region. Most people would spend 30-60 minutes, unless you read every sign like we do. Overall dim lighting makes reading signs difficult; take a flashlight or use the one on your cellphone. For 2 euro (1 if you get the Aigai museum combo ticket), it's an interesting stop, especially if it is...

Rich and detailed exhibition, absolutely atmospheric low-light environment to dive into glorious history of this ancient state. Con1: no photos allowed. Con2: try not to get there during high season as underground spaces aren't large enough to feel comfortable when several visitors...

Vom erst vor kurzem schön restaurierten Park (Eliá Park) hat man einen schönen Blick über die Stadt und die naturnahe Umgebung. Eine der Hauptattraktionen von Veria ist das historische Apostel Paulus Denkmal, dort wo Apostel Paulus im 1. Jahrhundert n. Chr. gepredigt haben soll.
