Le Bijou Luxury Rooms & Suites — Hotel in Veria Municipality

Le Bijou is very central for Veria, the rooms are tastefully decorated with nice bathrooms (though "luxury" is streching it a bit!), the staff are friendly, and there is free parking in an underground car park about 100 metres away (although this is not for the faint-hearted as the entry & exit is constrained with a very steep ramp). Downsides are (i) no breakfast, (ii) no lift, and (iii) the immediate access area is a bit shabby. But overall we found Le Bijou a good stop for 2 days visiting sites at Pella and Vergina. Be aware that Veria is a tricky place for car drivers, with narrow streets, one-way systems and some street closures due to utility works - google maps was unaware of some of these so gave us incorrect...

I very much will miss my stay at Le Bijou in Veria. It was very much what I expected it to be and so much more. It only has 3 rooms, so the setting is much more intimate and personal. The location was perfect! It is located in the pedestrianized shopping area with lots of restaurants, shops and cafes; the attractions of the city are all a short walk away; and the it is just a 4 minute walk to/from the bus station. Most of all, Sophie at the front desk was fantastic! Just a pleasant and warm host. She was very helpful specially with making sure I had a wonderful stay, she even found out for me when the carnival was at Naousa.
