This beach offers a rather mediocre experience. By midday, the water tends to become noticeably murky, and the beach itself is far from ideal. Instead of sand, the shoreline is covered with sharp, spiky stones that can be painful to walk on without footwear — all the way to the water’s edge.

The seabed is equally uncomfortable, with more stones that make standing difficult. Within just a few meters, the depth drops off quickly to over 2 meters, making it less suitable for relaxed swimming or families with children.

Positiv: Langer Sand- und Kiesstrand, viele Osteuropäische Familien mit Kindern, gute Stimmung, schöne Prommenade, zahlreiche Shops, Bars, Tavernen, Beach Bars. Negativ: Service an den Stränden miserabel, gemeint sind die Beach Bars, man wartet ewig bis jemand kommt, überall ist Mindestverzehr von 5€ und höher, manchmal zahlt man zusätzlich 10€ für Liegen und Schirm. Nervig sind auch die Brötchenverkäufer, die rauf und unter laufen und auf sich mit einer Tröte aufmerksam machen. Wenn sie wenigstens frisches Obst verkaufen würden, wäre es schon mal wesentlich besser als frittierte Bagels. Promenade ist zwar da, jedoch abseits reine Katastrophe, hohe Bordkanten, schmale Wege, mit Kinderwagen echt nicht einfach, überall parkende Autos. Was auch nicht optimal ist, zwei Supermärkte nebeneinander direkt an der Schnellstrasse gegenüber der Ortschaft ohne vernünftigen Übergang für Fussgänger. Ein weiterer Supermarkt liegt paar Meter dahinter, auch an der Schnellstrasse ohne Übergang. Essenstechnisch in Tavernen sieht es mager aus, überall das Gleiche, überall Pommes als Beilage, nur die wenigstens haben ein paar Alternativen. Pommes wird sogar zusammen mit Gyros im Fladenbrot serviert, eine Katastrophe. Es kam des öfteren vor, dass aufgeführte Gerichte nicht da waren, kaum zu glauben aber es gab wohl Lieferengpass bei Greek Salad 🤣 obwohl es täglich genug Obst- und Gemüseverkäufer gab. Der lange Strand ist zwar schön, jedoch findet man mehr Zigarettenstümmel als Muscheln dort. Ein Rauchverbot an den Stränden und in Restaurants sollte man in Betracht ziehen. Kaum findet man Platz irgendwo, da zündet schon Einer eine Zigarette an. Ein Durchschnittsurlaub, nix besonderes. Nächstes Mal einfach...
