Super interesting and super relevant!! To better understand Guatemala, its indigenous people and also get some Mayan history few things beat this place. I'd say it's a 'must' visit when in Guatemala City. When I arrived they were closed, preparing for an evening event, but the wonderfully helpful, passionate and knowledgable German lady who also works there managed to give me a quick tour before the evening activities. Based on the very very informative quick tour I'm convinced a full 90mins will provide even more valuable and interesting information. Thus, don't be fooled into thinking this is just a small "casa" - it's a actually bigger than thought and the knowledgable and committed staff mean you'll likely take away more than from some of the big museums.

Everyone should visit! It was a great free museum exploring the difficult history of Guatemala. It was small, I read everything and spent less than 30 minutes inside. It was beautifully set up. My only wish is that it was larger! Very powerful museum
