Hotel Historico ! — Hotel in Guatemala City

At first stuff looked nice and we were quite fine for what we get at the price. Than we left to visit the city in the morning and when we came back we found out they moved our stuff to diffrent room. I get very angry becose room we get was very small, basically two beds, and we left our stuff unpack on beds. We found out everything in extrem mess on beds in other room (even shoes put with clothes). We get angry but we tried to be understanding. BUT then we went out at the afternoon and when we get back we found out they did again!!! Just get our stuff and removed it again back to the first room. I do not like any stranger touching my pants and putting them in bed in mess together with shoes and everything... It feels awful.|Although I m understanding in general I did complain. The guy from reception started being rude.|As we did booking via booking.com after screaming at me he went directly down to reception desk and put 'un-show' on booking in order I canot write bad review.||There is only one good thing I can say about this property - I think they didnt steal on us (tho I m not sure 100% cos after mess they did with our stuff I may...

No me gusto en lo absoluto. Es una casa con habitaciones que parece ser hotel pero para hotel falta mucho. He encontrado mejores hostales en Europa por 3 euros la noche y aquí te lo venden como un hotel 3 estrellas. En París estuve en uno que me costó 15euros muy superior a este y teniendo en cuenta que este costó lo mismo!. No cuenta con recepción y apenas un logo que dice "maya colonial" de 30x30cm afuera hace sentirte un poco incómodo y extrañado de saber si llegaste a la dirección correcta, dado que no menciona la palabra "hotel" por ningún lado; ni los taxistas locales conocían ese lugar. La habitación que reservé estaba con baño privado, al llegar resulta que no, que eso era "información errónea" y nos cobraron el doble por habitación con baño privado. Además de las deplorables instalaciones y falta de profesionalismo al atender al huésped al ingresar a las habitaciones sin aviso alguno —aún si estás desnudo ten pon seguro que entrara alguien— nos hicieron solo pasar una noche. Nos quedamos solamente porque llegamos de un viaje de 7 horas y no conocíamos la capital, que si no fuera por ello, hubiésemos seguido nuestro camino por otro lugar. Si estás pensando quedarte en este lugar, mejor busca otro. Si estás actualmente aqui, úsalo de "trampolín" para reservar otros, que se encuentran más al centro, mejores instalaciones, y un precio por el 50% menos. Solo pregúntale a algún taxista o camina a la plaza principal y los encontrarás. Te darán un desayuno pero para el costo y aún agregando el 24% de impuestos más a tu tarifa, no vale la pena. No...

The hotel has hardly signs and is even by taxi really had to find |In front of the door is only a really small sighn with 3 letters.|How it is insite i can't say because they had other costumers in my room. |So i stood there at night with no hotel even when i made a reservation the day before.|The stuff seemed to be really unorganiced.|They sent me to an other hostel. There other people told me that them happened the same.|That s the reaso i really wouldn't go there except you like adventures in Guatemala...
