Railway Museum Los Altos — Attraction in Municipio de Quetzaltenango

This could and should be a great museum of Xela's history centered around the railroad. As of Feb 2025 there is nothing to see but an empty building. You can walk in and see people sleeping on the floor of what presumably was once the train hall. There is a stage with lights for concerts or events. But no exhibits at all. The adjoining memory museum has a torn awning and broken locked door. The upper floors appear to be rented as office and co-working spaces.
