Tldr: beautiful, not as the central park. I wouldn't come here just to relax as I would in the central park, but it's worth stopping by if you're around the area. New remodeling made it; safer, cleaner, no trees thus no shadow, no benches, doesn't have places to sit, no trash cans.
The new remodeling of this park has made it safer. The lighting at night is much better and it feels as if I can actually have a night walk here, whereas before i wouldn't walk here after 6 pm but now at 8 pm I would still walk around the park.
It's not raining season yet, but seems like it would manage rain without any puddles forming, those were my main critics before, but they seem to be better now.
However, there are no trees to offer natural shadow during the day, in the pictures you can see people finding shadows anywhere, at the same time there are no benches so people sit anywhere. There are no trash cans in the park just one that is constantly moved, however it remains clean so far. It seems they are still working on the park so they could add benches in the future. Hopefully they add trees (or other forms to provide natural shadows), and benches in the future. Btw the buses that go to La rotonda are in one corner and in the other you can Find La democracia, so it's not as quiet as the central park, but in the middle you can find some peace and quiet also next to...
