While reading the reviews for both this cave and the Drach caves we were worried about the amount of tourists. We decided to take these caves and took the earliest 10am slot. Everything was very relaxed and our group was only 15 people. The tour did only take about an hour and if you combine it with the combo of Dinosaurland right next door the price is quite good. For our family of a 2 and 5 year old the tour length was perfect. There are 2 video screenings: the first is a history about the cave and the other a genesis story about the universe and life on earth. That last one is a visual spectacle of projections on the cave wall. The tour ends with a small underground lake and some music that is played while you look at the shore at some videos that are again projected on the cave walls. The tour is not recommended for strollers or wheelchairs as there are many stairs and some pathways are quite narrow. In summary a fun visit with caves that are slightly different than others we've visited in Europe. Come early and relax. As a bonus the restaurant that is located at the grounds is quite good. Yes, they sell burgers and fries, but a a high quality level. Tastes like actual meat with good quality fries and nuggets. Not to be compared with McDonalds or alike.

Hams Caves is really a nice touristic cave experience. This is the second set of caves on the island of Mallorca that I've visited, and this one is definitely much better than the other one. There's ample parking and it's quite easy to get there. You can buy tickets at the gate and the price is more than fair for what you get. I think kids under 4 are free, so that's great too. The experience is basically a walk through the underground caves, with a few extras thrown in. They have 2 video 'experiences' that are definitely pretty cool and there's a musical light show at the underground lake. That's also quite fun. The caves are well lit and organized and the groups are kept to a good size so that everyone can enjoy the walk through. There's multiple languages offered for the tour and the tour guides seem to be knowledgeable if you have additional questions. There's a bit of walking, but not a crazy amount. However there are quite a few stairs, so if you are walking handicapped, or have many very small children, this will likely not work for you. After the tour there's a very small gift shop and a small cafe restaurant if you're hungry. All in all, I'd say it was worth it for me. I'd visit if you're in the area and need to kill about an hour.

All in all it was ok, BUT: 1. The first 'area' takes 30 min to visit because there are 2 videos that takes around 20. The second area that you'll visit takes 35 min because at least 10 you will wait for others to finish their tour. 2. The "blue" cave is blue because of the lights nothing natural about this. 3. Doesn't matter when your group waits in line, the tourists that came with a bus in a trip always get priority and you end up spending more time then it worths (we spent around 2 hours). 4. There is no guide and no one tells you anything besides a short info about the caves/rooms on the second 'area' that you will hear in the stereo. 5. Big groups that will visit, so you need to have a lot of patience. They don't take any precocious about the number of the people from the group, to offer everyone a chance to see something (it's all about selling tickets) 6. Even if you need to wait between the areas, you can’t go to the restaurant and buy something because its outside the waiting area and you are not around. It is something that you should / might do once in a lifetime, but most likely you won't go back...ever

Quick Version: an amazing place to go, just 10mins drive from the beautiful town of Porto Cristo. A memorable & fascinating experience for all ages. Wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water if travelling during the summer. Long version: This place surprised me so much. I thought it was just a Cave but it's so much more. A short taxi or car ride from Porto Cristo, this fascinating work of mother nature will astonish you with its Cave musical performance, deep hellish looking cinematic show and educational walks deep into the caves. TIP: there are some steep steps and staircases so comfortable shoes are recommended and the humidity is a constant 80% and 20°c so bring a plenty of water. The experience lasts about 90mins or less, from what I can remember. TIP: dont hold up the que There is about 5 different caves or sections, and plenty of chance to take photos or videos, which means you'll be walking in front and behind someone, in single file, so please be courtious. Overall, an educational, money-worthy, and jaw dropping tour of one Spains great attractions. Definitely would go again!

The Hams Caves in Mallorca offer a mesmerizing journey into the heart of the island’s natural beauty. 🌿✨ These caves, known for their unique spiral formations and crystal-clear underground lakes, are a true hidden gem. From the moment you enter, you're greeted by a surreal atmosphere, where the stunning rock formations are beautifully illuminated, creating a magical and almost otherworldly experience. 🏞️💡 What sets the Hams Caves apart is the captivating "Magical Mozart" concert, performed in one of the caves. The combination of classical music, enchanting lights, and the natural acoustics of the caves makes for an unforgettable show that enhances the entire experience. 🎶🎻 Exploring the caves felt like uncovering the secrets of nature’s artistry, with each chamber more impressive than the last. The guided tour provided fascinating insights into the history and formation of the caves, adding depth to the adventure. 📚🖼️ If you’re looking for an extraordinary experience filled with wonder and beauty, the Hams Caves are a must-visit destination in Mallorca! 🌟🌍
