Read moreCool spot to take photos for sure. But, the sand is actually mostly shells, not very nice on the feet, and it gets worse when you walk out in the water. Tables weren't out in the water when we went. Maybe it was too early in the season (late February).

Read moreThey've done a great job redoing this beach. The water breaks make the water calm and easy to swim in, a great place for families. There are plenty of trees dispersed for shade, with lots of open sand, and lots of area to hang out. There are picnic tables and benches. They regularly rake and clean the beach, so the sand flies aren't that bad. There are several bars and restaurants around the beach to grab a bite or drink.
