Family Park - BalaLand — Attraction in Siófoki járás

2/5 - used to be very good, not well maintained and very crowded. Details below. The family park is very nice. 4/5. After 2 years it is little bit worn out and broken damaged things have not been replaced. It is a pity. Worth to mention that there is a very attentive staff on site which is great. Place is very crowded. Restaurant is very expensive for the quality it offers. Service is not nice, not really trying as by definition there is 15% service included. Even for take away… hilarious. We got a cheeseburger for 20€, quite steep price for the product we got. 10€ for margerita, I wish I would have taken a picture. They have a beautiful oven but pizza looked like deep frozen. 4 euros for espresso. High prices, poor service, poor quality. Lastly the aqua park 3/5. Nice quite new, well maintained but way overcrowded. 20’ of waiting to dry your hair. In the pool you feel like sardines in the can. Water is clean, warm and good for kids. There are lifeguards on site which is great, they pay attention to what is happening. Big plus for it. I will not stay any more in that hotel, you pay 500€/night where you can pay 30€ to have access to the same aqua park. Ridiculous. The hotel and staff at the hotel were excellent! Then there was the aqua park, different story and it kind of ruined the stay. The lifeguard started Yelling at me and my 3year old, in Hungarian (which we don’t speak), that we aren’t allowed to go together on a slide. Perfectly fine if that’s against the rules, but don’t yell at us, speak politely, don’t make smug remarks about the fact that we don’t speak Hungarian. I tried to explain that the 3 years old was afraid to go alone on the slide and insisted that I go with her, there was no one around and we thought it was ok to do so. Safe to say crying started immediately after. Then, as advertised in the hotel, we asked for a glass of water, only to be rudely refused by the waiter, who insisted the hotel rules don’t apply in the water park, and he will only sell us bottled water. Good place but I would recommend going on a hot day if you have kids aged 10-18 because the price isn’t worth it because they can’t enjoy the soft pay.in the over hand they and do the VR stuff in side if on a not so nice day but ina nice day you can enjoy the outdoor pool and the lake balton beach. The indoor pool with slaides are downed for the use the kids under. The age of ten in my opinion.

FYI I visited on a rainy day in August and we as a galaxy of 3 adults and 3 kids payed 77,000 HUF to get in and we dint think it was worth that much.

The surety of the place could be improved because the gate lines explicitly at the soft play entrance are easy for toddlers and small kids to climb under.

I cannot comment on the food because I didn’t have any, but other friends said it was okay...
