Beautiful apartment, so much atmosphere, very different, a blend of modern comfort and a very old obviously historic Icelandic house, we loved it.||It is a couple of floors up a bit narrow stairs, no problem for us though. I live in this part of this country and will definitely stay in this apartment again (even many times).||We also loved how spacious it is, for 4 people there's lots of room by the table (we love eating together and playing boardgames together, that can take a lot of table space). Good, big, "real" beds (it is so common that apartments for 4 have sofa beds and just real beds...

The building is close to the main road and you can hear it all night. In addition the walls between the units were thin enough where you could hear precise conversations with neighbors. The location seemed far away and there was nothing really nearby. The layout of the apartment was nice though privacy required us to keep the blinds drawn mostly. ||||Also, there was a note asking guests to wash their dishes and return them to the place they were found. I don't know about you but I don't trust guests to be thorough cleaners to sanitize glasses and cutlery. This host should hire a...
