Stekkjarkot — Attraction in Reykjanesbær

Visited 2 years ago: A nice little detour to visit traditional 1800's fisherman's cottage made from turf, stone & timber. There's a nice information sign and area to take photos. Not visited by many visitors in the area. But great to visit briefly before heading to nearby attractions. Note, the route to this area...

Small place with few old Icelandic houses - its a good spot to see how Icelanders lived in past times. Place na not suited with disabled mobility people although person on wheelchair will be able to get that close to see this place. Spot is rather small and tourist numbers here...

Nothing special, but is cool to see how the Icelanders lived long ago. It's small, but free and worth the walk around if you have time to kill on the way to the airport or are stopping at the Viking museum. There's even animals...
