Subway — Restaurant in Reykjanesbær

We had subway at this place twice last week on our trip to Iceland. We are always blown away how much better the food tastes then the states. It actually tastes like food, real food. Other reviews state that employees are rude….some people just whine at everything. We enjoyed the staff the first time they have been nice and we complimented establishment and their food. Last time was super busy and I can understand the frustration with the workers, people came in ordering multiple sandwiches with demand which held up the line. That is who complaints. Who ever said once you been to subway you have been to them all , hugely mistaken or doesn’t travel much. This food was good, staff was great....

Food was like any regular subway but the service was pathetic. It's open 24/7 and we arrived at 01:00, but it felt like we had disturbed their nap-time. Either that or the two ladies behind the counter were just plain a-holes. Ordering food at the counter felt like attending a job interview. Typical subway fast-food restaurant. Nothing special about it. Been there several times now over the years and it's always okayish. The place itself could eventually do with a bit of a renovation, but it's always been clean and the staff usually is friendly, but doesn't seem too motivated. Be careful they get your order right..
