Heilsa nudd MT — Attraction in Reykjavik

I’m not sure why this clinic has such high reviews, because their booking system and communication are a mess.

My boyfriend booked a last-minute massage the other day, nobody answered his calls, and when he showed up for his appointment no one was there. Only later was he contacted and offered another time. Despite that, he said the massage itself was fine, so I decided to give them a try.

Today, I booked a 10am massage at their Faxafen location through Noona (which shows availability) and even called twice beforehand — no answer. On my way there, I got an SMS asking if I could instead come to Höfðabakki at 10:30. I agreed, but at 10:20 they called to say everything was messed up and offered me either 11:00am or 3:30pm. Neither worked, and the last message I received was simply asking me when I could make it.

That’s not how professional scheduling should work. All of this hassle could be avoided if they simply kept their Noona booking system up to date and actually answered calls. After two experiences like this, I won’t be trying...

Rating: 2 stars – and only for the therapist who performed the djúpvefjanudd 60’ treatment (12,999 ISK), as she was skilled and very polite.

The massage bed was uncomfortable around the head area, and a plastic part was pressing against my face — but the therapist immediately addressed the issue, which I appreciated.

There was quite a bit of noise from traffic outside, and although relaxing music was playing, it wasn’t enough to create a calm atmosphere.

My review reflects my experience with the business owner. Her unprofessional attitude, as shown in the photos below, led me to write this review.

It’s not just about the receipt, which I had to request for three days before she finally sent it.

It’s also about a promotional offer she advertises publicly but refuses to honour unless you mention the “Instagram code” — and then her Instagram page disappears the next day!

She doesn’t accept any criticism either: if she doesn’t like a review, she insults her customers and calls them...

I had never had a massage like this before. From the moment I walked into the wellness center, I felt a sense of calm and genuine care. But the real highlight of my visit was the therapist, Najada.

Najada was incredibly professional, attentive, and truly skilled. With expert hands and an intuitive touch, she knew exactly what I needed. Every movement was precise, purposeful, and done with both expertise and heart. It was, without a doubt, the best massage I’ve ever received.

I felt welcomed, pampered, and completely renewed. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this place to anyone in need of a real break and a moment to recharge.
